The dead-line for final submission is May 25th, 2007. The full paper(s) should be revised according to the reviewers’ comments. The conference paper format has been attached to all paper acceptance letters.
 
Several workshops will take place in the IGEC conference.


Trends in Automation
After the key-note speeches and lunch we will have a workshop to discuss “Energy efficiency improvements in 1) Process industry 2) Heat and Power generation”. This will be chaired by Prof. Erik Dahlquist, Mälardalen University and Prof. Alf Isaksson, ABB Corporate Research. The workshop will cover different aspects on what is going on in power and process industry, but will focus primarily on energy aspects this year. The discussion will be with all participants in the workshop (PDF).

Sweden-China Int. Workshop on Energy and Climate Change
“Sweden-China Workshop on Energy and Climate Change” will be held during the IGEC-III. A high-rank delegation from academy, industry and organization from China is going to travel to Sweden to attend the IGEC-III and the workshop. The delegation will be led by the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE). They are invited by the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA). At the workshop, renewable energy, energy security, climate change and global and local sustainable technologies will be addressed and discussed. A detailed program will be announced at the IGEC-III website in May 2007. The workshop is jointly organized by the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA), the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) and Mälardalen University (MDU).
