Process and Resource Optimization Profile
Central parts of the PRO research profile are developing and refining tools and methods
used in optimization of advanced processes. The processes can be optimized both with consideration
to the construction process as well as in an operational mode. Important tools in this work are
different modelling and simulation environments combined with measurements and validation
towards parameters within different process parts. Our vision is to advance tools and methods
that represent the leading products in the industy ten years from today, where advanced theory
is made useful in practice.
We have activities in following processes:
 Energy processes, both regarding production and consumption Resource consumption in the community, e.g. water, waste, leachate etc. Sustainable development through recirculation and re-use of waste materials Fire control as a security component in infrastructural systems |
