Abstract
We pleased to announce that the IGEC opening ceremony will be hosted by Mats Svegfors, governor of Västmanland county.

Mats Svegfors has been the governor of Västmanland county since April 2000. The governor is responsible for following-up decisions taken in the parliament as well in the government, and supervise that the decisions are implemented within the county. He is also a coordinator of regional interest and acts for a positive development in the county and for its residents. The governor is also the president of the county administrative board.
